REDP!NG is designed around SMS-based SOS delivery, helping send user details and GPS-based location data quickly without relying only on a voice call. Unlike 911 and many traditional emergency services, which usually begin with a phone conversation, REDP!NG can be useful when speaking is difficult because of pain, panic, injury, poor signal conditions, or difficulty explaining your condition and location clearly. It supports emergency communication, but it does not replace local emergency services.
